전치사/Preposition_시간 표시

전치사 또한 외워서 써야 하는 영역인 것같다. 근데 이걸 문장에서 잘 못 사용을 하면 기본을 모르는 느낌이다. 계속 사용을 해서 익숙해지는게 최고이다.

• at: 시간, 특정시점, 하루의 정오[밤, 새벽]
  • at + specific time: I get up at 7 o'clock. The movie starts at 8.30. //at noon, at dawn
  • at + holiday period: They sing carols at Christmas.  // at that time, at present
• in: at 보다 비교적 긴 월, 년도, 계절, 세기, 하루의 아침,오후, 저녁에 사용
  • in + Months: My birthday is in May.
  • in + years: The Titanic sank in 1912. 
  • in + the + decade: Life was difficult in the 1980s. 
  • in + the + Century: We are living in the 21st Century.
  • in + season: There are many flowers in spring. 
  • in + time period: The meeting starts in ten minutes. She will be here.in three hours.
• on: 특정한 시간;요일 날짜 특정한 날의 아침, 오후, 저녁에 사용
  • on + days: I will vist you on Wednesday. Where were you on Friday?
  • on + dates: His birthday is on May 23th. 
• By: ~까지는 , Till : ~때까지 줄곧
  • by: 동작의 완료를 표시(Single event). Please send me the information by Monday. 
  • till: 동작 상태의 계속을 표시(Continuous). He is staying in the Seoul till the end of next month. 
• for/during/through: ~동안
  • for: 막연한 기간, for years, for a while , He worked for three hours. // How long ~? 의 대답
  • during: 특정 기간, 동작 상태의 계속기간, during the+명사, during the vacation // When ~? 에 대답에 사용
  • through: ~까지 죽, 내내: 전체기간, throught life
• Since: ~이래, from: ~부터
  • since: ~이래로 줄곧, 과거부터 현재까지의 계속을 나타냄, 현재완료 시제와 많이 사용됨. He has been here since 5 O'clock.
  • from: from ~to 와 함께 많이 씀. //과거시제에 사용. I lived in Seoul from 2005 to 2019.
